TotalEnergies is at the leading edge of this battle thanks to a vast research program to develop innovative technologies to detect and measure methane emissions. Developed in partnership with the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), drones are fitted with miniaturized sensors to quantify emissions, estimate their trajectory and identify their source so they can be kept close to zero.
